Accounting Connect (Pty) Ltd is a South African accounting practice based in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape, founded in 2018 by Brandon Iverach, Professional Accountant (SA), and Willemien Nel. We work with owner-managed businesses, professional practices, property holders and trusts across South Africa — most engagements are run remotely on cloud accounting.
Three pillars: Accounting (Sage One, Xero and QuickBooks bookkeeping, VAT201, EMP201/EMP501, IRP6, ITR14, ITR12, CIPC annual returns, annual financial statements), Advisory (quarterly business reviews, structuring, cash-flow planning, property and trust advisory, tax planning), and AI Implementation (supplier-invoice automation, bank reconciliation acceleration, document routing, AI-assisted management reporting, custom internal tools).
Yes. Accounting Connect (Pty) Ltd is registered with CIPC under company number 2018/528820/07 and has traded since 2018. Brandon Iverach is a Professional Accountant (SA) registered with SAIPA and a Registered Professional Tax Practitioner.
Yes — VAT registration and VAT201 returns, payroll taxes (EMP201, EMP501, IRP5s), provisional tax (IRP6), company tax (ITR14), personal tax (ITR12), CIPC annual returns, plus SARS disputes, objections and audits.
Yes. SARS treats crypto as an asset, not a currency, so every disposal is a taxable event, including a swap from one crypto asset to another where no rand ever changes hands. We reconstruct the disposal history from exchange and wallet records, and treat mining, staking and airdrop income correctly. Gains are assessed as revenue or capital on the facts.
Sage Business Cloud Accounting (Sage One) is our core platform. We also work in Xero and QuickBooks Online for clients already on those systems.
Practical workflow automation inside the business — capturing supplier invoices automatically, routing documents, accelerating bank reconciliations, generating management report drafts, and building purpose-built internal tools. Production systems integrated with Sage, Xero, banking and document stores — not pilots or chatbots.
